AVGARDE https://www.avgarde.net/ is an award-winning deeptech startup company based at Sector-1, HSR Layout, Bengaluru. AVGARDE currently has an on-site paid intern job opening for a full-time Operations & Admin Intern.
Intern applicants should be detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Fresh diplomas, graduates or post-graduates in any discipline can apply but should have an aptitude for an operations & admin role. Good performing intern candidates who are smart, communicative and quick learners will be offered a full-time job at AVGARDE after successful completion of the internship period.
Preference will be given to male candidates with bikes/two-wheelers as local work-related travel is required within greater Bengaluru areas. Good English speaking & writing skills are required. Speaking skills of other languages like Hindi and/or Kannada could be a plus.
Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint software is required. Working knowledge of using tools like Google Workspace, ClickUp/Slack, Zoho and any ERP, CRM & SCM software is a plus.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist with day-to-day office, operations and administrative tasks as instructed by senior team members and the company’s management
Travel to various places within greater Bengaluru city areas for various company works relating to banks, vendors, suppliers, customers, logistics, courier, transport, cargo and others.
Support in maintaining online databases, data entry jobs and hard copy filing systems, document lifecycle management, updating of important records/spreadsheets/database.
Help in documentation support for proposals, presentations and tenders/bids in terms of compilation, drafting, typing/copying/printing/scanning/binding and other related works.
General support in terms of office management including office asset management & maintenance, office visitor support, coordinating with relevant vendors and service providers.
Provide logistics support to team members for demos, events and other external engagements by coordinating in terms of flights, hotels, taxis, air/rail cargo, etc with various service providers.
Assist with local printers, office ID cards, steel/plywood cargo box vendors and others, also keep track of the company’s utility services (i.e. electricity, internet, water, rent, biometrics, CCTV, etc)
Support senior management to schedule external/internal meetings and appointments, and also assist in general office inquiries, correspondence and other miscellaneous matters.
Assist the senior team in terms of inventory management, material tracking & receipt, vendor management, operations management, supplier coordination and other activities.
Coordinate with office boy, office electrician and others for various office maintenance related matters and others matters related to office supplies & deliveries and other allied matters.
