Can .com and .in etc.. be two different sites ?

For ex: abcd.com and abcd.in or abcd.org Can they all be different sites ? If no If I buy .xyz , do I reserve the .com aswell even if not bought yet ?

  • these all subdomains are different let's say I have a security guard website  https://eagleeyesecurity.ca/  and https://eagleeyesecurity.com/  all are different. Even https and http are different in eyes of google
